PLAYER FOCUS - PETER CREED

Our very own Peter Creed, Welsh National Champion x 8 is part of our PSL Squad. Welshman Peter Creed has forged a reputation as one of the most energetic and exciting players to watch on the PSA World Tour.

Creed, who trained under the tutelage of six-time British Open Champion Jonah Barrington, reached his first PSA World Tour final at the Festina PSA Squash Open but narrowly missed out on picking up the title.

He broke his duck at the PSA McWil – Wroclaw Open in January 2012 with a fantastic victory over Eddie Charlton in the showpiece event.

He claimed a place in the world's top 70 in March 2013 before capturing two PSA World Tour titles in 2015 with the latter, at the British Virgin Islands Open Squash Championship, being his fifth PSA World Tour crown.

Caerphilly-born Creed nearly added to his title tally at the Minneapolis Open in November but bowed out at the final hurdle after losing to Arturo Salazar.

Creed overcame European Junior Champion Patrick Rooney to triumph at the Charing Cross Classic the following year to lift his sixth PSA World Tour title and his first in 16-months.

The Welshman then backed this up with a runner-up finish at the Sunrise Foods International Saskatoon Movember Boast where he lost out to fellow Brit Joshua Masters over four games. Creed then went onto claim a further title when he lifted silverware at the Florida Open, beating Angus Gillams over four games in the final.
